Marketing & Administrative Internship – Summer 2026

NWCL | Summer 2026 Internship
In-Person / Onsite | Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible) 

We’re looking for a motivated Summer Marketing & Administrative Intern who wants real-world experience inside a fast-moving professional services firm, and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully from day one. The position will be based out of our Portland office, and the successful candidate will have access to a desk and laptop.

This role blends marketing, operations, and administrative support. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with newsletter creation and content development
  • Supporting website updates, blog publishing and social media (particularly LinkedIn)
  • Drafting and editing marketing materials and client and prospective client communications
  • Conducting market and industry research
  • Helping manage CRM and contact databases
  • Assisting with new client acquisition and onboarding
  • Office administration activities as directed by the team
  • Providing general administrative and organizational support to attorneys

You won’t just observe, you’ll help build systems and projects that clients actually see.

Current graduate student (Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred)

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new software and tools quickly
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive

Interest in entrepreneurship, startups, or business strategy is a plus

  • Hands-on experience in legal marketing and business operations
  • Exposure to startups, founders, and business strategy
  • Portfolio-worthy writing and marketing projects
  • Mentorship and direct collaboration with our leadership team
  • A clearer understanding of how professional services firms actually run
